Hey Everybody,
It's been 2 1/2 months since Beaver Nelson's Exciting Opportunity came out and I've been
really busy. I toured solo through the Mid-West, East Coast and some in the South-East. I played
house concerts in New Jersey, Durham, and Chattanooga, many old favorite clubs (Mohawk, Beachland), and some new ones (Banjo Jim's, Valentine's). When I was in Cleveland, I stayed over
an extra night and sat in on a Townes Van Zandt tribute night. It was great to meet
so many Cleveland musicians and to hear them do so many songs by one of my two favorite songwriters.
I did an on-air at WXPN in Philly hosted by my old camp buddy, Matt Reilly, and listened
to 4 John LeCarre books on tape.
Since coming home, I've painted 3 houses and one art studio. One more interior and a bathroom, then I'm off to Japan. I think the dates are listed here on my site. I can't wait to see Shuichi, Keiji and the
rest of the fellows. I've got three nights off in the middle of the tour so maybe I can teach some
more people how to play Texas Hold-em.
